ABOUT SELINA

My Story

​

My Story 

With my huge love of all things sport, dance, exercise, and movement,  you may not suspect how much I have struggled with my health and fitness. From a very young age I was bullied about my weight, so in turn, I spent my teenage years educating myself on nutrition, toying with fad diets and constantly comparing myself to others. I only really gained the knowledge to accept and love my body as an adult after years of study, training and a better understanding of the human body. I decided to use my story, my knowledge and my experience to help others overcome their own hardships. To guide people to improve their lives, their perceptions of themselves, and their relationship with health and exercise.  

 

Now as a qualified Personal Trainer, Strength and Conditioning Coach and Nutrition Specialist with more than 10 years of industry experience working with people of all different shapes, sizes, ages and genders, I find great joy in sharing my passion for movement and wellbeing to help guide people towards healthier lifestyles. 

I understand that no two people are the same. Everyone has their own strengths and limitations. Everyone has their own story. 

 

I believe a real health and fitness journey never truly ends; it is a lifetime journey of exploration and play where we should challenge ourselves both physically and mentally on a regular basis. New research on styles of training, the human body and the science of nutrition is available all the time and it is important to keep learning, growing, and taking care of our one and only vessel. 

I aim to transform not just your body but your LIFE, to encourage you to find joy in movement, to find pleasure in nourishing your body, to find happiness in taking care of yourself inside and out. 

 

I can build you a custom plan based on your current health and fitness, your life schedule, and areas of focus to help you not only achieve your health and fitness goals but actually ENJOY reaching them and keeping them, FOREVER!

Group sizes range from 2 -4 people only!

Great for those who want to keep training costs low, or want to train many times a week!

Enquire to be put in a group OR you can make a group of your own!

Nutrition guidance to supplement your training or to be done on its own!

We set up an initial nutrition consultation either in person or online and then you will receive ongoing nutrition guidance and access to me with any questions you may have at any time, for a month

SD health & Movement Runs Annual Health & Wellness Retreats. 

With the help of other passionate industry professionals. You will be whisked away to a beautiful location to learn about Food, Movement, The Mind, Sleep, Rest & Self Care as well as the important role community plays on your health and longevity.
